our saloon
The saloon of our sailing yacht charter is fitted with varnished woods, fine
fabric-covered cushions, teak wood flooring and seating all around. The DVD,VCR,
Stereo and IPOD are all kept here with a large collection of music and movies
for your enjoyment. We have a movie projector theater with surround sound
and 6 foot screen for movie evenings! Open hatches admit the refreshing British
Virgin Island sea breezes while fans provide further ventilation. Full air conditioning
is available when required. Promenade is fully stocked with reference books for
birds, fish, and island history.
staterooms
There are 6 guest staterooms, two in port outer hull (or, one in the outer hull and the forward V berth) and three at the rear
of the center hull. Three of the staterooms have queen sized berths and the other
two staterooms have berths that are larger than king-sized. So large, in fact,
that the berths in these two staterooms can each be converted into two single
berths, making four singles and three queen-sized berths if your party has such
a need. In this way we can cater to both couples and families with ease on our
charter yacht. Each stateroom has its own washbasin and mirror, and there are
4 guest showers and heads. All have excellent ventilation with overhead hatches and fans.
In addition, there is full air conditioning available when required aboard this sailing charter. You will find on arrival a full set of linens in each
cabin, including extra beach towels for use on the deck or beach. All our berths are over 6 ft. 8 in. long. Each
cabin has 24 hour electrical outlets.
Everyone wants to know the dimensions of the beds, so here they are. Aft: 56 wide by 88 long. Kings: 81x81 (These kings can also be split so you have two twin beds) Queens: 78 long by 55 wide (These are the cabins in the ama's.) V berth in fore is : 5' wide at the head end tapering to a V 6 and a half feet away! Single Cabin in port ama, 3.5' wide by 6'. You can go to our cabin gallery here to see pictures of all the cabins.

Sailing yacht Promenade is 65 feet long with a beam of 34' 10 inches! She displaces 17 tons and draws 5'6 inches. Her hull construction is fiberglass with a foam core and is schooner rigged with two masts measuring 54 feet and 64 feet.
Her equipment includes 2 Perkins 65 diesel engines, which cruises her along under power at 7-9 knots. She carries not only 375 gallons of fuel, but also 750 gallons of water and an onboard watermaker which produces 600 gallons of fresh water a day! Her generator is 20 kw and runs 110/220 VAC. We have a 67 channel marine VHF radio, GPS, depthsounder, log, electronic navigation charts, shortwave radio and all the flares, life rafts and lifejackets required by a commercial charter yacht.
Inside we have a full sized gourmet gallery with ample fridge and freezer space, full size oven, 5 burner stove, and ice cream maker. We also have a cold drinks fridge and icemaker on deck. WIFI access is generally available throughout the boat.

It is a personal planetarium that puts the knowledge of an expert astronomer in the palm of your hand. What that really means is that our guests who are laying out on the trampolines at night, wondering if that large star they see is Mars will be able to point this at it, and find out more than likely that it was really the mastlight off another sailboat in the anchorage!
Promenade is fully insured and licensed for chartering including all local BVI licenses including a commercial fishing license. We are proud members of the Charter Yacht Society of the BVI, Virgin Islands Charter League, BVI SCUBA organization and DEMA (Dive equipment and manufacturing association).
