Barry (Bazza) originally hails from Australia. Baz spent 20 year in trade school for various mechanics, holds about 14 different papers for welding to diesel mechanic, and as well has built several boats, including Alley Cat, a 37 foot catamaran that he sailed around the east coast of Australia for 18 months.
Besides the fact that he can sail or fix anything on a yacht, he is an avid SCUBA diver and SCUBA Instructor. Bazza not only holds a local British Virgin Islands captains licence, but was the first person to obtain a MCA approved engineering license here in the British Virgin Islands. Recently Bazza has completed building a ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle)
Kerry (Canada) holds her MCA Yachtmaster Offshore, is STCW95 compliant and has been a SCUBA Instructor for many years, with thousands of dives with underwater photography being a particular passion. She is very eager to share her part of charter paradise with you. She has a passion for the out of the way spots in the British VIrgin Islands that she has learnt over the years, and her story telling and history trivia on the BVI is always fun to listen to.
Bazza and Kerry have owned and ran charters on Promenade for 13 years. Yikes! They are very excited about sharing their yacht and the British VIrgin Islands with you.
